One of the things that people hear the most about cruising is all of the food that you can eat while you are on board. For some, this is a dream come true. But for others, it’s something that concerns them and makes them think twice about going on a cruise, because they are afraid that they are going to gain a lot of weight.
There are a few things that you can do while you are on a cruise to stop yourself from gaining a lot of weight.
1. Watch what you eat. Just because there a lot of things that are offered, it doesn’t mean that you have to eat it all. Look over
the selections and see what it is that you want to try the most at a buffet, and make certain to stock up on vegetables and fruits.
2. Watch what you drink. Remember, drinks have calories as well and they can add up very quickly. Drink a lot of club soda, water, or unsweetened iced tea as opposed to alcoholic drinks and sodas.
3. Take a walk. Most cruise ships have some type of exercise facility, so take advantage of them. If you aren’t someone who
really likes to lift weights, walk around the ship, and when it docks go ashore. This will help burn off the calories that you take in.
If you follow the above tips, you will enjoy your cruise and enjoy coming home as well since you won’t gain as much weight as you dread.
